Preparation
Preparing
Prepare the Ingredients:
Thinly slice the beef against the grain. Mince the garlic and ginger. Cut the broccoli into small florets. Set aside.
Cook the Noodles:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Blanch the Broccoli:
In the same pot of boiling water, add the broccoli florets and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
Make the Sauce:
In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and hoisin sauce. Set aside.
Cook the Beef:
Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned and just cooked through. Remove the beef from the pan and set aside.
Stir-Fry the Aromatics:
In the same pan, add the minced garlic and ginger. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Combine Ingredients:
Add the cooked noodles, blanched broccoli, and beef back into the pan. Pour the sauce over the top and toss everything together until well combined and heated through.
Finish the Dish:
Drizzle with sesame oil and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss again to combine.
Serve:
Transfer to serving plates and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
